PALMA CEIA OVERVIEW
Palma Ceia is large and feeds into two elementry School districts, with half feeding into Mitchell, Wilson, Plant. While the other half feeds into Roosevelt, Coleman, Plant. (If you know an address and what to know which school look at this link: https://choice.sdhc.k12.fl.us/locator/) HISTORY In 1907, the Tampa Bay Land Co. started selling home site in Palma Ceia for as little as $100. The neighborhood was named after a popular swimming hole near Bayshore named Palma Ceia Springs. Only much later in 1916 did the Palma Ceia Golf and Country club open, after the Tampa Bay land Co. agreed to lease the 100 acres to a group of business men for $1.00 a year. The area grew quickly and even as late as 1941, Dale Mabry was still a dirt road and all the homes were still on Septic tanks. BOUNDARIES Search Palma Ceia Homes for Sale:
